The national target. - GCCs out-hired India's entire IT services industry in FY26. - $121bn and 3.5% of GDP by 2030. 6,500 leadership seats today. 30,000+ by 2030. These are not project management roles. These are the seats that run global businesses from India. 70% of leadership demand has no ready supply. Out of 100 leadership seats, only 30 have a ready supply. The remaining 70 are unfilled. Enterprises are looking one level down. With limited supply at the top, development focus is shifting to the level below. 30,000 seats. No pipeline. Someone has to build one. ## The leadership roles it prepares people for - Site & Centre Heads: Run the centre as a business. P&L, board, HQ. - Global Functional Heads: Own a function worldwide. Engineering, Product, Data & AI, Finance, HR, Operations. - Founding Teams: The first five seats of every new centre. - Global Process Owners: Own one process end to end, across every geography with the decision rights that go with it. ## The Fellowship Six months that close the gap between running a function and owning an enterprise. - 18 modules, 190+ live hours, taught by operators who have built and led GCCs. - A seasoned GCC leader reviews your work weekly and shows what closes the gap. - Build working AI tools on your own work from Week 1. No coding required. - Join a circle of fellows and GCC leaders where enterprise seats get filled. - Every month ends before a panel, playing the board, HQ or CFO. No exams. - A credential your HQ recognises: add-on certification from IIM, plus the Fellow's Mark. ## What fellows learn - GCC LEADERSHIP: Can you run a centre as a business? Outcome: You can run a centre as a business, not a delivery function. - AI FLUENCY: Can you decide about AI without borrowing someone else's answer? Outcome: You can make and defend an AI call as your own. - EXECUTIVE PRESENCE: Will the most senior person in the room back you? Outcome: You are considered for the seat before the role is posted. ## Curriculum, month by month - M1: See the Enterprise. Stop describing your function. Start describing the business. - M2: Own the Economics. Argue in money, not effort. - M3: Build for Scale. Design a capability, not a team. - M4: Earn Trust. Be trusted with something that can break. - M5: Expand the Mandate. Ask for work nobody gave you. - M6: Prove It. Defend all of it, in one room, in one hour. ## How it runs The pod. Six people who will know your thinking better than your own leadership team does. One hour midweek, every week. Your real work on the table: the investment case, the build-versus-buy memo, the mandate pitch. “HQ will kill this on slide three. Here's the version that survives.” The circle. Sixty fellows a year. One room for life. - MONTHLY: Fellows meet in person, off-screen, around a table. - QUARTERLY: The wider circle gathers: fellows, alumni, the bench. - ANNUALLY: The alumni meet. Every cohort, one room. - ALWAYS: Alumni pods that never stopped meeting. - THE ANNUAL GATHERING · BENGALURU: Two days that define the cohort. The entire circle in one place: fellows, alumni and the leaders who run India’s GCC world. - GCC CENTRE VISITS: Step inside leading GCC centres to see how global teams operate, solve complex challenges and build enterprise impact from India. ## Credentials - Certification in AI-Native Enterprise Leadership (IIM): The add-on credential every HR system, HQ and shortlist recognises on sight. - The Fellow's Mark (GCC FOUNDRY): Not printed. Cast. Your mandate, engraved in bronze with your lifetime fellow number. Sixty are made per cohort. ## Career pathways and indicative pay - Site / Centre Head · ₹1.5 to 4 Cr+ · with a growing million-dollar club at the top end - Global Functional Head · ₹1 to 2.5 Cr - Head of AI / Platform / Data · ₹80L to 2 Cr+ · carrying the 40 to 60% AI premium - Founding seat, new centre · ₹1 to 2 Cr · plus equity Indicative, varies by company, city and mandate. Three times. Because no one else had.” He built it inside the centres he ran, at Citibank in the 1990s, as CEO of Tesco HSC, as Managing Director at Goldman Sachs, because there was nowhere to send good people. The leaders those academies produced went on to run GCCs and functions across the industry. Now India needs 30,000 of them. So he is building it for the country. ## Pod mentors - Sumit Chadha: GCC & Enterprise Services Leader; Former MD & CEO, BGSSL, MD & Country Head, BlackRock India - RB Rajendar: Global Analytics & Financial Services Leader; Former Global Analytics Leader, Citibank & HSBC - Pancham Taneja: Global Operations & Financial Services Leader; Country Head, Delta Capita, Former Executive Director, Goldman Sachs - Kappu Jayakumar: Global Technology & Data Leader; Former CTO, Giant Eagle & Senior Director, Lowe's - Jayen Desai: Global Digital Transformation Leader; Former Sr Director, VMware & Director, NASSCOM - Joydeep Lahiri: Global Banking & Business Leader; Former MD, Singapore/ South Asia, Citibank - Divesh Singla: Global P&L & GCC Leader; MD, Veradigm & Former SVP & MD, India & Philippines, Signant Health - Narayan Ramamoorthy: Co-Founder & Global CXO; Senior Leadership Roles in Tesco, Mphasis, Wipro, WorkFutr - Karandeep Singh: Global Advisor/ Mentor & Board Member; Former CFO, Flipkart, Tesco GBS, Simplilearn - Vishal Nagpal: Global AI & Data Leader; Director, AI & Data, Best Buy - Kaushik Das: GCC & Global Technology Leader; Former MD, Catalyst Brand - Abhishek Kar: Global Product & Fintech Leader; India Head, OnePay - Dr Anuradha Rao: Global Talent & Enterprise Leadership; Former VP, Talent & HR, Deutsche Bank & Genpact - Sandeep Poddar: Global Technology & Enterprise Leader; India Head, Kimberly-Clark - Saurabh K: Global Engineering Leader; Senior Director, Data Engineering, Lowe's ## Advisory board - Nithya Subramanian: Global Data & AI Leader; Former Senior Director, Data & AI, Best Buy - Nishant Chandra: Global AI Leader; Industry Copilot Leader & Head, Microsoft - Arvind Balasundaram: Global Insights & Analytics Leader; Executive Director, Regeneron Pharmaceuticals - Satish Padmanabhan: Global Leader, Banking & Data Technology; Enterprise Data & AI Leader, Standard Chartered - Srini Oduru: Global IT & Ops Leader; Head Delivery, Kearney - Smita Menon: Global Talent & Leadership; Sr Leadership, BNP Paribas, Former VP, Goldman Sachs - Romi Malhotra: Global GCC Leader, Technology and Enterprises; Senior Advisor, Embark, Former MD, Dell, CEO & MD, Scope International - Pankaj Rai: Global Data, AI & Enterprise Leader; Group CDAO, Aditya Birla Group - Biju Kalleppilli: Global Engineering Leader; Sr Director, Engg, SAP Labs, India - Aveek Mukherjee: Global Enterprise & GCC Leader; MD, Gloplax & Former MD, Wells Fargo - Shirsha Ray Chaudhuri: Global AI & Analytics Leader; Senior Director, Applied Research, Thomson Reuters - John Dawber: Global GCC & Corporate Services Leader; MD & Corporate VP, Novo Nordisk - Sunil Shirguppi: Global Technology & GCC Leader; Country Head, Greenlight & Former MD, Goldman Sachs & LinkedIn - Sharmishtha Chatterjee: Global Data & AI Leader; VP, Data, American Express - Muthumari S: Global AI & Insights Leader; Chief AI Officer (Startup) & former AI Head, Brillio - Vijoy Basu: Global AI & Data Leader; MD, AI, State Street - Anirban Nandi: Global AI & Data Leader; VP, AI and Data, Albertsons Companies India - Praveen Sathyadev: Global Business and AI/ Digital Leader; Head, EU/UK Business, Course5i - Akshay Kumar: Global AI & Insights Leader; Sr Leader, Research & Insights, Gallagher - Lalitha Indrakanthi: Global Enterprise & GCC Leader; CEO, Jaguar Land Rover Technology & Business Services India ## Frequently asked questions ### Who is the Fellowship for? Experienced leaders with typically 10 to 20 years of experience who lead a team, function, platform or capability today. Fellows include Senior Managers, AVPs, Directors, VPs, Engineering and Delivery Managers, Principal Architects, and data, AI and corporate-function heads. What unites the cohort is not the current title but the scale of the next mandate: a site or centre head seat, global functional ownership, capability leadership, or a founding role in a new centre. ### I work in IT services, GBS or consulting, not a GCC. Can I apply? Yes. Part of every cohort crosses over from services and shared-services backgrounds. The Fellowship builds the GCC operating-model fluency that is hard to gain inside a services firm: captive economics, cost recovery, HQ mandate dynamics and matrix reporting. ### Do I need to know how to code? No. The Fellowship builds decision-grade AI fluency: architecture, build-vs-buy, economics and governance. You will build working prototypes using no-code and AI-assisted tools. Fellows with an engineering or platform mandate can elect the Enterprise Engineering track from Month 4. ### What is the time commitment? Six months, 24 weekends. Saturdays (4 hours) cover enterprise leadership and executive presence. Sundays (4 hours) cover AI decision capability and hands-on labs. Add a weekly one-hour session with your pod mentor, and a mentor-led intensive every fourth weekend. ### What will I have at the end of six months? A working AI-native prototype tested with real users, a business case you have defended before senior leaders, a mandate proposal for work your centre does not yet own, twelve ready-to-apply GCC blueprints, and a 90-day plan for your next role. Everything comes together in an integrated capstone presented at Capstone Defence Day. ### What certification will I receive? Fellows who complete the Fellowship receive a certification from GCC Foundry, along with an add-on certification from IIM. ### How does the selection process work, and how long does it take? Cohort One has 60 seats, filled through six stages: Application: your profile, your current mandate, and a short statement on the seat you are preparing for. Screening: every application is reviewed against the eligibility bar. Readiness test: an assessment of business judgement, structured thinking and how you reason about AI decisions. Mandate round: a conversation about what you run today, the scope, the numbers and the decisions you own. Presence round: senior interviewers assess how you carry an argument under pressure. Board decision: the final call is confirmed by the advisory board of experienced GCC leaders, against the composition of the cohort. The process usually takes 7 to 14 days from application to decision, depending on panel availability. ### Will the Fellowship build my long-term network? Yes, and it is designed to outlast the six months. Your closest working group is your pod: six peers and an experienced GCC leader as your mentor, reviewing your work every week. Beyond the pod, you learn, debate and build alongside the full cohort of 60 leaders across functions, industries and GCCs, through weekend sessions, simulations and cohort meetups. You also work with a wider bench of GCC leaders who teach, review and sit on panels. The network continues after the Fellowship. Alumni come together through offline meetups, quarterly events with the leader bench, and an annual alumni gathering that brings every cohort into one room. Alumni can also audit new modules as the Fellowship adds them, and extend mentorship for six months after completion. Enterprise seats are often filled through networks before they are posted. This is the room where those conversations happen. ## Links - [Apply for Cohort One](https://www.gccfoundry.com/#apply) - [About GCC Foundry](https://www.gccfoundry.com/about) - [Privacy policy](https://www.gccfoundry.com/privacy) - Contact: connect@gccfoundry.com
